Here I am: my name is Cristina Di Loreto and I am a Psychologist and Psychotherapist in Firenze.

I am specialized in Brief Strategic Therapy and my passion for Psychology began when I started to use autobiographical writing.

I studied in Florence, where I now live and practice.

After my degree I have been chosen to do my training by Associazione Artemisia, an Association that provides psychological support to women that has been victims of sexual abuse, psychological , economical or physics violence or stalked.

I spent the next six months of my training at The Brief Strategic Centre directed by Professor Giorgio Nardone in Arezzo where I took my specialization later on.

After the one year training I got my license and finally became a Clinical Psychologist with registration number in the register of Psychologists of Tuscany Section A, n. 6549.

I have always been interested and fascinated by the study of Criminal Behave so I decided to sign my self to the II level University Master in “Psychiatry, Forensic Psychopathology and Criminology”, I attended that in the Florence’s University and graduated with maximum grades. My thesis was: “The intervention of Police: exposure to traumatic factors, risks and consequences for police officers.”

While I went to my lessons I just realize how my love for the clinic practice could join the interest in the Criminology: helping the police officers woth psychological support.

I am one of the founding member of Cerchioblu an Association that provides different services to Police Forces such as psychological support, Psychotherapy, Counseling and formation.

Since October 2012 I am member of the Board of Associazione in Costruzione Onlus in Arezzo, a cultural Association that provides for free psychological services to people that couldn’t use that kind of services privately.

Since the beginning the love and passion for expressive and autobiographical writing marks my private and professional path, I lead in Florence seminars and laboratories in order to sensitize people about the great benefits and outcomes that this activity can produce on body and mind.

Since March 2018 I collaborate with Helpsy, a web platform, for which I provide online psychological support to english speakers that live in Italy for short periods.
